BOTOX

Botox (Botulinum toxin type A) is a safe and approved injectable preparation that temporarily relaxes the facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles. It is most often used to reduce forehead wrinkles, between the eyebrows (glabellar wrinkles) and around the eyes, but it also has medical applications in the treatment of excessive sweating and pain.

How is the treatment performed?

  • Consultation: Prior to the procedure, a doctor assesses the skin condition, facial expressions and expectations of the client and explains the procedure and possible side effects.

  • Preparation: The area is cleaned, sometimes a local anesthetic or cold compress is applied

  • Injections: Botox is administered with a thin needle into precisely selected muscles. The procedure itself takes between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the scope of the treatment.

  • After treatment: Mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site is possible. It is recommended to avoid intense exercise, massage of the treated area, and sudden bending for the first 24 hours.

Who is it intended for?

  • Adults who want to reduce expression lines
  • People with good general health
  • Candidates with realistic expectations
  • People without active inflammatory processes on the face

When are the results visible and how long do they last?

  • First results visible after 2–4 days
  • Full effect after 10–14 days
  • Results last 3–6 months
  • Regular repetition prolongs the effect and reduces the intensity of wrinkles.
